“This was our 3rd visit to Cascais and this place was by far the best one we have stayed in to date. It is a lovely place with gardens that are truly a wonder. They offer so much privacy and were a joy to sit in and have breakfast each morning. The sun is in the gardens for most of the day and it offers a nice quite area to relax in. Tomás is a great host and is very knowledgeable on the local area. He made some great suggestions for places to eat of an evening and we took him up on these for something different to try. 5 Sentidos was a particular favourite of ours. The only issues we had were that the bed was far to hard and most mornings we would wake up aching. And the tennis court was in need of some much needed care as it was very worn and dilapidated, although it did make for a great sun trap in the late afternoon. The place is very well situated and within easy walking distance to the town centre or the coast. Thanks for having us Tomás and we look forward to returning to Cascais again.”

”We we're three people staying in the house for a week and it was perfect for that. The house was very tidy, with all the amenities you would need for a week's stay. The large, beautiful garden works like an extended living room and obviously the tennis court was a nice bonus too. The location was convenient too, right at the seashore and about 10-15 minute walk away from Cascais centre. On top of that the host Tomas was super helpful and readily available for our questions, and he also had great tips on what to do during our stay. "The Tennis Club House is located in a beautiful garden in the most XXXX part of Cascais. The apartment is quite small but large enough for two - the most time you will stay on the terrace and in the garden with your personal hammock anyway … It is equipped with anything you need (including bath towels!), even if you are self-cooking (which you do not necessarily need in Cascais). The contact with Thomás is very personal and friendly and he is always helpful - lots of fun. Summary: the next time we will travel to Cascais we will book the Tennis Club House ;-) Our tip: you can rent bicycles for a day for free (between the museum and the park) - we have rented bikes for several days (at reasonable cost): within less then 5 minutes you are in the city or at the marina.”
