The Kitchen
In the fully equipped kitchen, the only thing really lacking is the oven, but that’s easily compensated with the grill function on the microwave or the Webber grill on the outside. Here, you’ll find every sort of utensils to cook, serve and store your meals with every commodities you’ll find at home. We don’t have a dishwasher due to space limitations, so we have installed the biggest and prettiest kitchen sink we could find. We hope you enjoy it!
The Living Room
In the living room, the daybed sofa is easily transformed into a queen size bed, giving this space a humble accommodation for 4 guests.
There is a Smart TV with all the Portuguese channels, some cable ones and a free Netflix connection. Still nothing good on Tv? Try and watch your own movies by plugging the HDMI cable into your computer.
The Bedroom
In the bedroom above the Queen size bed, you’ll find two framed “Viúva de Lamego” ceramic tile doves, with more than a hundred years of history. (Did you enjoy the art piece you’ve just seen? Good news. The artist who assembled this piece, in a joint partnership with Tennis Clubhouse Cascais, has made available for our guests a small catalogue of Portuguese tiles (from the XVII century to modern times) that you can custom order and take a piece of Portuguese history back home with you.
To ensure you have the best and more restful night possible, we’ve dressed the bed with the finest linens. We also have present in our minds that there’s a fairly amount of pillows in our decoration that we hope you can easily store away, inside the big “decoupaged” drawers under the daybed (we can also put them away during your stay if you feel they can get in the way of your vacation vibe).
The Gardens
Our garden, completely secluded, leads you between nooks, paths and hidden gems, into places where gatherings, sun baths and social interactions are a MUST, like the “Waikiki Beach Lounge”, or taking a nap in the hammock under the 40 year old Rubber Tree. Portugal is known for having over 290 days of sunshine per year and the city of Cascais, privileged with it’s coastal geography, assures us a temperate weather all year round. Even so, if temperatures are too high we have made available an outdoor shower located next to the tennis court and sun loungers
The Tennis Court
For our most adventurous and active guests, having crossed the "Lizard’s Valley", there’s the tennis court where you can put to use the rackets and balls that we make available. We also provide a volleyball, scooters, skateboards and a first aid kit. You’ll find all of these items inside the grey shed by the front porch.
